What is Kaia and Kairos?

Kaia is the unified chain brand of Klaytn and Finschia, a highly optimized, BFT-based public blockchain that aims to meet enterprise-grade reliability.
The Kaia network emerges from the transition of the Klaytn network through a hard fork.
Kairos is the new brand of the Klaytn Baobab testnet, transitioning simultaneously with the Kaia v1.0.0 hard fork.

How do I get the Kaia Faucet?

To receive the Kaia Faucet, you need to choose one of the two available wallets.

1. Create Kaia wallet and connect it to the Kairos network to request the faucet. Enter your address in the field above and click “Receive Faucet” to receive testnet tokens.

2. Create Metamask wallet and connect Kairos network (testnet) to the Metamask. After connecting to the Kairos network, enter your address in the field above and click “Receive Faucet” to receive testnet tokens. What is a testnet token?

Testnet tokens are used for testing on the Kairos testnet before deploying your products on the Kaia mainnet.

How many testnet tokens can I receive?
